2017 Playoff Bracket

The Miners finished in third place in the OVL West with an 18-22 record. Although tied with Fulton (18-22) in the standings, Madisonville earns the #3 seed in the West Division due to winning the tie-breaker with most runs scored in head-to-head games against Fulton (63 runs to 61 runs).

The Miners will face the Henderson Flash, the #2 seed from the East Division, in Round One of the playoffs. The series will be best-of-three, with Game 1 scheduled for Friday night, July 21, at BT Wayne Field on the campus of Henderson County High School. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday night, July 22, at Elmer Kelley Stadium in Madisonville. If Game 3 is necessary, the series will move back to Henderson on Sunday, July 23.
