MINERS FALL TO BOMBERS

Dubois County Bombers 4, Madisonville Miners 2.  The visiting Bombers moved into 3rd place with a victory over the home team Miners in Madisonville.  Dubois County improves to 10-12 on the season with 3 straight wins and are now 5 games behind the leading Hoppers. 

     The Bombers scored first with single runs in both the 2nd and 4th innings.  The Miners got one run across in the 5th.  Both teams doubled their scores in the 9th inning for the final 4-2 score.

     Winning the game on the mound was Ryan Dills going for 7 innings with 1 earned run allowed, giving up 4 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 7 batters.  Jacob Murray take a save throwing the final inning.  Madisonville starter Tanner Koch takes the loss for 6 innings of work, allowing 5 hits, 2 earned runs, 2 walks and had 3 strikeouts.  Box Scores Click Here.
