2020 Season Canceled Due to COVID-19
As everyone knows by now, the 2020 regular season of the Madisonville Miners and the entire Ohio Valley Summer Collegiate Baseball League was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While we certainly missed playing baseball in 2020, we understood the seriousness of pandemic. Our organization felt the direct effects, with members of our extended baseball family dying from COVID-19 as the novel coronavirus spread around the country.
As of the date of this writing, over 600,000 lives have been lost in the United States in the pandemic.
We encourage everyone to get vaccinated. For those of you that choose not to do so, we encourage you to wear a mask and continue to social distance to protect yourself and your loved ones.
Be smart and be safe. And we’ll see you at the ballpark soon.
